Last weekend in June can you believe it? I wonder where the time goes? I finished my Lap Quilt, with the Strawberry Lemonade fabrics...it is just to have around the house, or use at a picnic...what a fun quilt to make!
I purchased this Thimbleberries Melon TableRunner Kit from Keepsake Quilting in 2006 on sale! I didn't realize I had it until I was rearranging my sewing room...so I figured I would make it to use for the summer...I do not like fusible things...do not want to do that as a staple in my quilting life...I do have to quilt it..maybe just an 'in the ditch' and bind it.
Have a great sewing weekend everyone!

That's a darling little summer piece. Fusible is not my fave, either. But for pieces that will be used for only short bits of the year, it does make life a lot easier *s*
Your lap quilt is very cheerful and summery, and your table runner looks just right for the fourth and all summer. Great job.
Quilt and table runner is beautiful!

I love them both....nice and cheery! Your flowers are pretty. :)
I love your quilt -- so perfect for summer and so cheerful. The table runner looks very very cute.
I think Woody';s stawberry lemonade quilt turned out beatifully! I'm sure he will get lots of e from it!
Beautiful quilts....love the fabric...
I finally had a chance to view your blog - I love the quilt!! Your summer table runner is adorable - I love watermelon - I do some fusible, however, like you and others, it's not my favorite - it leaves my projects too stiff!!
How cheerful is this quilt! I love the pattern and the fabrics.
