Living Well Wednesday January 23, 2008

What a week it has been. I am just getting over bronchitis and a sinus infection. My ears are still blocked and the ringing in both ears is still bothering me. Reading Darlene's post today made me realize that perseverance is so important. I had a rough time with staying on track and eating properly. I did not journal. I had a lot of stress also. I had to ask myself why I was not aware of what I was eating and when I was. I could have cared less. I really need to journal. I also need to take the vitamins. I am on various medicines. After reading another post it was mentioned to take vitamins. I am going to make sure I do that also. I have been slacking. I prepared my journal. I am ready to do this in a way that I think is proper now. I have not gained weight, as a matter of fact I have lost a couple of pounds this past week. I can honestly say though it was not the proper healthy way! I was not Living Well. I did not put my mind to it. One step at a time right? Until next Wednesday!! Healthy hugs...

I'm glad you commented on my blog. I am proud of the plans you've made to Live Well. We can do this!!
I have you in my favorites and had been by several times to check. Sorry you've been sick. I wanted to have a quilter who's blog I read regular. I have a list of others but they are so much further along than me. I'm sure you are too but we have this other thing in common too.

Yes, we CAN do this. Together, and with God's help. Baby steps, but steps nonetheless!

I totally understand the ear thing! My entire sickness started in my ear. It literally sounded like there was a washing machine in my left ear and it was driving me nuts! My Dr told me to take Mucinex D so I started that and boy did it help to relieve the pressure in my ear. I ended up having to take a Zpack as well but none the less I am on the mend. I do hope you feel better and hey a loss is a loss no matter how you got it! And we can do this! I will be praying for you and your husband. I read one of your posts that said he lost his job. That has to be tough with todays economy. Chin up and have a good rest of the week! Oh yeah and GO PATS!

It's very tough to keep to a plan while you are sick! And even though the recent weight loss didn't happen the healthy way, if you keep with your plan, you should be able to keep most if not all of it off. I have been doing Weight Watchers since June and have lost 35 pounds. I am on my last 18 to lose. :) Good luck!
