Primitive Annies I Love them!

I just love it when the sun is shining! I smile more! I wanted to acknowledge a couple sites for you to take a look at when you get a chance! Kerri is having a giveaway for her blogonniversary! Go check out her site! I love it! She is a sweetheart and I am anxious to get to know her better!

My granddaughter Hannah turned 4. Nicole Ellison made a Cowgirl Raggedy Ann Doll for Hannah to have as a keepsake of her 4Th birthday! I didn't get a good picture of the doll yet but when I do I will show you, it is out of this world!

I collect primitive old Raggedy Annie's! As you can see from my picture posted above Woody some are sitting above a quilt! I have them in my sewing room! I have two favorite doll makers! You have to Nicole's blog and De's blog too! From there they will lead you also to their doll sites if you are ever interested in buying them or learning how to make them!

This is Hannah with my husband Gary before the party started! Grampy gave her flowers! She said all she wanted for her birthday flowers from Grampy! Until tomorrow!!

I can see she is a girly girl, alright. Flowers from Grampy!
Thanks for letting me know about the Raggadys. I have made quite a few myself but all look new. Well they did when I made them. I sold some. Then I made all grandaughters and younger nieces and grand nieces one. I wrote on their back, who made it and when, hopefully that will be an heirloom the'll pass on someday. Then I decided not to make anymore. I only have one left. It is an Andy. I'm thinking of making girl clothes for him so he can be an Annie. Sort of a sex change, ha!
Hope your week is going well and you didn't eat too much Birthday cake.

Hi Erin! So glad you stopped by my blog in my little corner of the world, which happens to be the same corner of the world as you - guess what? I live in Nashua too! Exit 6 west to be more specific.

If you want to see my Juki and have a play and see if you like it as much as I KNOW you will, then you are more than welcome to come visit!

I LOVE the Raggedy Annes - my daughter is learning all about them in Art class at school right now and is a little obsessed. I must show her your page!!
